Running Like A Mofo

Today is my last day of vacation.. BOO!!  But at least tomorrow I will be back on my normal schedule. I dont know about calorie counting but I'm gonna try.....

http://caloriecount.about.com is the website I'm using to figure things out. It was pretty easy to set up my account and it tells you the amount of calories you can have in one day. It has a food log, activity log, weigh log and water log. You enter in everything you eat and drink and the activities you do and it adds it altogether and gives you a grade for the day. So we will see how this works for me.  My first days grade was a B.... I'm going for that A tomorrow!

I also started walking and running today. I dont trust walking down my road because people drive it like they stole it so I walked a lap around my house then ran a lap for about 30 minutes. I didnt count the laps but I will tomorrow and everyday add more to it. I havent ran like that since High School in gym but it wasnt too bad other then the breathing part.  I didnt do my Billy Blanks dvd today but tomorrow I'll get back at it. Ive definitely got to get my activity level up...And drink MORE water!

I think the most aggravating thing will be writing everything down during the day but at least the website adds all the calories for me. And it has a pretty big database so you can look up stuff by brand name, it makes it easier to find all the information you need to put into your food log.

  1. You will totally get in the habit of calorie counting and it will become second nature. Calorie counting is also really awesome because you see why you weren't losing before. I did not realize how horrible I ate until I started counting my calories!

It also is super hard for me to breath when I run. I usually go to the high school track and walk the sides and run the ends. Once I get more in shape I will run one lap and walk one lap. I usually do 1-3 miles every time I go. I don't have sidewalks on my street so I get scared running on my road too.
